**Story**

*Tower Roof*

Robin's POV: I can't believe I got talked into this...I mean she's one...or two years older than me... What's the point of meeting up after all this time? I left Gotham to get away from all that...then I met Star and the others right on the first day moving to Jump City. I thought I was head over heels in love with Star...but I blew it... Star fell for another and all because of me being too stubborn to open up...I guess it was my lesson to learn for being an idiot.

*Robin Sits down on the ledge*

R's POV: Then again...Star deserved better and I knew that from the start. I admit I was Jealous lunatic at first when Aura came to the tower...but seeing how different he was compared to me...even after losing most of his family as a kid and being misstreated by most of the public...I admired him for being able to move on and open up... Starfire loved that...and the compassion he shows towards her, she opend his eyes from what he was forced to grow up with. She opened her heart and he embraced it with out looking back...

*Looking at the full moon Rising from the Horizon*

R's POV: I began to think that...maybe...I was only hurting myself the most. Bruce tought me everything...but not everything stuck. Maybe leaving Gotham wasn't such a smart idea...and leaving her with out saying anything......till about a week ago...

*Flashback*

*Robin's Room*

Robin: *Going through his old things*......nah, the old uniform wont do...*looking in the mirror* The new suit is better...*Then pulls out a photograph of him and Barbara eating Ice Cream Sundeas at the park*......Wow...I didn't think I still had this...*Sits on the bed*...She must've stuck it in my things before I left......I was 12 and she was 13 1/2.

????????: *Standing at the bedroom door* Are you talking to yourself again boss?

Robin: Ack! *hides the photo* Aura!!! ahem...is somthing wrong?

Aura: Other than the fact your talking about a girl named Babs...

Robin: O.O *SHIT!!!*

Aura: Boss......if you don't mind me asking...who is she?

Robin: uhh...Blue don't you and Star have a date to get ready for?

Aura: Kori is out with Firanna for the day. *folding his arms* And if your asking about my training I'm all tapped out too...but if its really private I'll drop it.

Robin:.......*sigh*......Close the door behind you......

*Flashback ends*

R's POV: Yeah, you guessed it. I told Aura about Babs...the only person who knows about her... I expected to get hounded like BB and Cyborg did when it came to my crush on Star...but he listened and took it serious. He didn't say to any of the others about her to my suprise. ...but actually encouraged me to contact Babs for the first time in 5 years.

*Flashback*

*Roof Top: 4 hours ago...*

Aura: So you called her?

Robin:....yeah...

Aura: So what happened?

Robin: This isn't your business Blue...

Aura: Boss c'mon, you havent seen this chick in ages. AND you've been thinking of her since then.

Robin: This isn't like with you and Star...I made a mistake...

Aura: And you have a chance to make up for it.

Robin: ........

Aura: It dosent have to be a date if thats what your worried about. Just a get-to-gether for a day, is that all that hard?

Robin:.....................

Aura: *sigh* .......*Waiting for an answer*

Robin: ......She want's to meet up here...

Aura: Well thats a start...With all do respect, would you prefer to have a quiet evening?

Robin: *looking at Aura with a suprised look*

Aura: Cy want's to go check out the Jazz music festival, so were all going...

Robin:.......*gives Aura his Credit Card*

Aura: Boss!? Whats this for?

Robin: To make sure you guys stay for the whole festival...

Aura:......*poketing the card* I hope I don't have to use it...

Robin: Just don't go over the limit ......and Erick...

Aura: ?

Robin: You have a good time with Star...

Aura: Same with Barbara...Dick

*Flashback Ends*

R's POV: And here I am...waiting to see if Barbara really shows...She said she would... *Sigh*......I hope I'm not making a mistake.....

All of a sudden a grapling hook shoots up to where Robin is sitting and Latches on the ledge, and below Robin was someone gliding up the line. Backing away from the ledge, Robin looked in amazement as the figure slowly climbed up on the ledge. Robin was shocked...that his old friend Batgirl really showed up...

Robin:....O.O...Babs?

Batgirl: *Taking one last step on to the roof* .......Dick?

Robin: *In total shock*...You came...

Batgirl: *takes a few steps forward to get a good look at Robin....* I told you I would

Robin: ......Barbara...Listen...I......I'm sorry...for...

Batgirl: Are we alone?

Robin:

Batgirl: Good...*Slowly removes her Cowel and letting herself feel the night air on her face...* We have so much to catch up on...

Robin: ....Your...Not mad at me?

Barbara: Why would I?

Robin: Because of not keeping in touch and leaving with out saying goodbye...

Barbara: Dick you had a falling out with Bruce, I didn't want to stur up any trouble that day...

Robin:......how is he?

Barbara: The same, Investigate first have fun later ...But he asked how you were doing.

Robin: He did?

Barbara: Your like a son to him Dick, and you still are.

Robin:......

Barbara: He is proud of how far you came these past years. As much as I am.

Robin:.....O.O...He is?...and you too?

Barbara: Of course. *Walks up further* I don't blame you for wanting to distance yourself from him...and me...

Robin:...I didn't want you to get hurt...

Barbara: I know...But you know that you could always come to me for help. I still consider you as one of my friends...if not the only one I relate to...

Robin:..... Ever faithful are we?

Barbara: I've grown up alot, I know you have too...

Robin:.......

Barbara: *reaching for Robins mask*

Robin: *Backs away*

Barbara: May I?

Robin:......*closes his eyes...and slowly Barbara pulls the mask away...*

Barbara: *holding the mask* Well...you've gotten rather handsome

Dick: ....*opens his eyes*......I..Thanks...Babs...you look beautiful too...

Barbara: *pulling out a bag from behind her back and pulling out a packaged Hot fudge sundea from the bag* I figure we could re-live our little "date" in the park...

Dick: You remember that?

Barbara: Course I do, You were cute with the Hot Fudge on your nose

Dick: ......

Barbara: *Setting the Ice-Cream down* Dick...I missed you alot...Even though we were still kids back then you were one of my best friends...*looking down*...I didn't think I'd see you again...

Dick: You really felt that way?

Barbara: *looking up into Dicks Green Eyes* I never admitted it until now...being goofy kids back then it never really dawned upon...*Feeling herself beginning to tear up*

Dick: *Wiping away her tear* Its okay... *Pulling Babs up into a re-assuring hug* ......I forgave you a long time ago...

Barbara: ......*letting herself relax*......*begins to pull away*...So...do you want to Start? Or...

Dick: Later Babs...for now...we have a long over-due second date

Barbara: That we do...
