Happy birthday B, I hope you approve of her :salute:

Background: Born in the forests of Canada from foul interbreeding, Ursula was a youngling Aura-Magi that lived with the Tribe of the Claw; Aggressive and stubborn Mages that fallowed the path of the bear. However as time passed as she grown to a toddler couple of notable weaknesses were noticed; her Soul orb's power was developing slower than normal, the physical traits of her hair color and her shorter height was alarming signs to those around. In the eyes of her parents, they heartlessly declared her a runt...and not worthy of being their daughter. More and more, other Magi began to look down on the child for her weaknesses instead of helping her.

Noticing the unrest and accusation against the innocent girl, The female Beta denounced the unhonorable treatment of the young cub (What children of the tribe are called). Making an example, she banished the parents from the tribe as a warning to those who would attempt to do harm. Causing quite a stir with the Alpha of the clan...

Through numerous debates with the Alpha, the firm and brave Beta fought for the fate of the little girl. Her spiritual sight could sense that Ursula had great power that had yet to awaken...power that like all Aura-Magi should be taken with caution. Begrudgingly the Alpha gave in and allowed the woman to take Ursula under her wing. However he demanded that the child be trained in the same ways all cubs were brought up on.

In truth, the Beta despised the ancient ways of the Aura-Magi, she could feel from each cub that the vibrant light from each was weak. Little bear (Ursula's meaning of her name) couldn't be forced to fallow that path. Resigned to change, the Beta had began Ursula's spiritual training that that was passed down from her family in secret.

Ursula was more than capable of speaking but she simply refused, with it was shame or humiliation the little girl couldn't find her voice. So in place of a voice the Beta taught the child how to speak with her mind. Although a slow process, the little girl began to learn to speak for the first time, her voice was soft but louder than a bears growl, bit by bit she began to commune with the nearby creatures of the forest.

Three years later, Ursula was nearing the time of her Awakening, before any preperations could be made, tragedy struck. Broken survivors of Mordred's lost army had been waundering the mountains, defeated by a group of warriors of the modern world. These monsters were lusting for blood...and vengence against those who defield their forsaken honor. Upon spotting the Village, The demons jumped at the chance to satisfy their blood lust and immediately attacked without provocation.

None of the villagers were prepaired, even the few who could had no experience against ancient evils...the only one who could was the Beta. Ursula was witnessing the bloodshed first hand and once the Beta took to battle as a giant bear, her own awakening triggered. Catching the fallen warriors by surprise, Ursula went berserk and tore at any devil that came in her path. Her fury was short lived, she lost control and reverted back near the end of the battle.

Unkowingly, her stepmother was on the eve of victory against the Leader...until her soul orb was shattered upon getting stabbed by a Hell Blade. Survivors of the tribe were able to fend off the demons and once the attack ended...they gathered to witness the lastmoments of their beloved mistress.

Upon awakening, Ursula crawled towards the fading body of her beloved master and watched the woman fade away into the night sky like autumn leaves. With the village in shambles, and no family to turn to, Ursula stumbled away with her eyes blinded with tears, and her heart filled with unchecked fury. None of the villagers attempted to stop her...

Hoping to lay down and die, Ursula felt broken and betrayed...she was a runt, and longed to have the strength to fight the monsters. Unknowingly, her cries were being noticed, a baby etherial bear trotted out into the open. Hesitantly looking up, Ursula was ready to run again, but the bear approached the and rubbed up against the girl.

Ursula had heard that once an Aura-Magi makes contact with the spirits, it was for life...this bear was a possible sign. Reluctantly, Ursula watched the ghostly cub trot off...and accepted to fallow it.

Through the passing years, Ursula lived within the wilds, studied and learned the ways of survival from the spirit guide. The rugged and hard lifestyle had pushed her, broken her many times and strengthened her far more than when she lived in the village. In times of danger, her Therian Bear arose and Ursula fought back...each battle only added more fortitude...and time also brought untapped power.

By the age of thirteen, Ursula was an experienced survivor, clothed with animal skins and was more than capable to overcoming what nature could challenge mettle. In truth she remained alone, she had no desire to seek out her birth parents, nor wanted to return to her old village. Yet something didn't feel right, it had become harder to wield her Bear transforation, and she was experiencing magical spells she never wielded before.

Her dreams were plagued with visions places unseen, battles outside of her home, each one more confusing than the last. Worse, she could feel her soul core beginning to burn hotter, more energy was gathering within and Ursula didn't know why. Her Beta mother never explained the consequences and dangers of a soul orb becoming unstable. Each passing day the pain got worse and the strength of the bear was now fighting against her control.

Neither the spirit guide nor her former teacher had prepared her for her growing power. One vision was of an older version of her turning into a human-seque version of her Bear form. Another was a giant black bear coming to her aid and charging at an unknown opponent...the last one was her being covered in blackness. Only thing she could do to push past her visions was surviving.

One day she felt herself become overwhelmed and pass out after a long hunt, her dreams turned into nightmares...ones of her burning into ashes, ripped apart by demons. Aimdst her panic, she was nuzzled awake and she awoke face to muzzle by a full grown bear spirit. It was like before with the baby bear, like before it calmed Ursula's troubled soul.

"Youngling...go south and seek out the Great White Wolf...the one called Fenrir that lives among men...go south...you'll find what you seek..."

The image of the bear vanished into the air, leaving the young girl alone. Having no other choice other than endure more torture, Ursula began to journey out of the highlands of her former home...towards the steel and contrete jungles of man.
