Description
This has got to be one of the strangest ideas I’ve EVER ventured in to, but also one of the more funny ones I’ve done in a long time.
This is based around the loving yet weird relationship between Cel and her mom Starfire.
It's inspired by those "Daughter embarrassed about their parent" relationships.
Plus it shows how oppisite both mom and daughter are like.
I never really went into description of Cel and her mom’s relationship till now, so better late than ever.
While Celeste does lover her mother, she didn’t always appreciate some of her free-spirited actions. Some people questioned why she’s more serious, introverted and all round conservative. The truth is that Cel felt embarrassed and often annoyed for being compared to her mom. Many expected her to take up modeling and become a fiery hero. For a long time Cel didn’t want to disappoint but at the same time wanted to be honest that she longed for a normal relationship with her mom.
After her ordeals in seasons 1-2, she finally opens up lets her mom know how she felt being compared and uncomfortable...as well as her personal life. Star had suspected of her daughters feelings but didn’t know how to ask without upsetting her. (As a model Star did receive comments and questions of her daughter’s future from the press.) Once Cel got everything off her chest, Star quickly realized that her daughter was trying to find her place against difficult odds. The biggest surprise was that Cel’s true power emerged and her emotions were too disturbed for them to work properly, (The botched cavalier mission, Ferio breaking up and her guilt of her mentor getting killed).
The middle or even beginning of season 3, Star takes on a mentoring role for her daughter. Cel knows how to control her emotions but not experienced on embracing and releasing them through her power. For a while it’s difficult, but that changes from support from her friends, family…and a surprise that James (Fellow cavalier and friend) survived and was on the mend. Ironically, Cel tells her mom that she developed feelings for him over time, and Star encourages her to go to him. Their relationship improves obviousy…but with some quirks in between.
Now for those who are wondering, NO I’m not changing Cel’s outfit again! I’m happy with what I have this is…more of a silly Joke. Since new 52 hit, people are divided about Starfire having amnesia and more popularly the latest costume she wears. I myself admit that I’m divided to what DC decided to do to my favorite red head alien.
I figured at some point in her career Star decided to try on a new Tamaranian battle outfit. Unfortunately it’s about as protective as a white shirt in a wet t-shirt contest (And it drove blue nuts with a lot of younger titans gawking at his wife).
But since Cel’s boyfriend had crossed over from Azerath to live with her, Mommy Star couldn’t help but have alittle fun. So she secretly had another tamaranian suit made but in her daughter’s colors. As a joke she'd present it to her as a coming-of-age gift…well lets just say moms prank doesn’t go exactly as planned. Lol
I’ll leave you guys to decide what happens lol
